On Saturday Nov 9 1974 between 7-7:30 p.m. a light
was observed flying across the sky,hover over a small
lake,land in the lake. While in the lake it emitted a
pulsating glow. Two days later the authorities recovered
a six volt lantern they said was the culprit.

Throughout history conspicuous cosmic fireballs have been seen as portents of major events or changes to come. Although people generally don't believe this anymore, the notion is still somewhat ingrained in our collective unconcious.
