like a cylinder and bright orange in color

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it was moving from the south at a normal speed,thought it was plane until i noticed a bright orange light then suddenly it stopped for about a minute when it started moving west at a 45 degree angel from
