Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

At the top and to the front it had a red glow from the front of the dome with the rest of the dome tinged in a yellowy orange the shape of the dome was rounded at the front then stretched to a point at the back, it looked to be rounded but with what appeared to be a gull wing shape. It was high in the sky about 10,000 feet I would compare it to be the size of 2-stealth bombers with no other lights showing and silver in colour; it made no sound at all.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It came into view slowly from the east levelled out and then zoomed across to the west and then rose up and zoomed out of sight, the strange thing was it was a clear night sky but the object disappeared!

Any additional comments :

A very strange feeling calming, hairs on my arms stood up it did not make a sound, I have never seen anything like it, it seemed to travel at the speed of a shooting star right across my view but it definitely was not as there were aeroplanes higher up in the sky.
