What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It was a bright orange, vertically cylindrical in shape, almost like a lit lantern crossing the sky. I was looking for a flame, but cound not see anything but orange colour. There was no sound as it moved across my eye line from Right to left.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No, it moved in a steady, uniformed way across the sky

It was an amazing sight, I could see the size of the object get larger as it moved across my line of sight, and fade as it moved in the distance. i did manage to get a picture, but only one as it moved away from me. I was afraid to break eye sight of it to get my phone out in case I missed something
