Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Bright orange-red light, solid (ie not flickering or flashing), about 5000 feet up. Secondary UFO about half size, bright white.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

First UFO travelled very slowly towards the south then, after a few minutes came to a standstill. Hovered that way for approx two minutes. Then, secondary UFO appeared just above it, close to it, for about three seconds, then disappeared. First UFO began to flicker, like a faulty bulb, then pulsated a few times and disappeared entirely.

Any additional comments :

Cloudless night, sky was still a little bright in the west. May have also seen a strobe of light to the south a few minutes before the sighting but unconfirmed. Witnessed this with my mother and father - shortly after the sighting, we saw several other people outside their houses looking at the same patch of sky. They may also have been witnesses, would love to gear from anybody who also witnessed this strange event.
