large orange slow moving glow

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

moved very slowly across the sky, could be seen through thick patches of cloud, unlike an aeroplane which cant be seen through thick cloud

i can only describe what i saw as a large bright orange slow moving glow, nothing i've seen before
