    UFO whistleblowers publicly ask Trump for immunity to reveal what they know

    Three self-described UFO whistleblowers say they have appealed directly and publicly to President Trump, rather than through private channels, asking him to grant immunity so they can speak openly about what they say they know of unidentified craft. Former intelligence officer David Grusch, who has previously told Congress he reviewed classified evidence of crashed craft, says he told Trump: "give us the authorisation and we're ready to go." Air Force veteran Dylan Borland and defence contractor Matthew Brown made similar appeals, in an effort organised by filmmaker James Fox. The Pentagon's waiver announced on 14 September lets personnel report UAP information internally to the PURSUE task force but does not authorise public disclosure.
