Declassified Pentagon files include 2010 study on symptoms reported after a UAP encounter
Among the files released in the Department of War's latest PURSUE batch is a 38-page 2010 study, "Anomalous acute and subacute field effects on human biological tissues", which reports that three antenna engineers developed skin redness, tingling, diarrhoea, hair loss, boils and heart palpitations, along with nightmares, insomnia and anxiety, within 72 hours of witnessing what the document calls an "anomalous aerospace-related event". Investigators concluded the men had been accidentally exposed to a mix of radio-frequency, non-ionising and microwave radiation. The study, describing an incident from some years earlier, does not give a location or exact date for it.

Viral video shows unexplained coloured lights over Tehran
Videos said to have been filmed over Tehran on 19 September and shared widely on social media since 20 September show several coloured lights moving across the night sky, with one post claiming the sighting was near the city's Azadegan district. Neither the filmer nor the location has been independently verified, and no Iranian official or aviation body has offered an explanation. Social media users have speculated the lights could be drones, an aircraft or an LED-lit kite, but commentators note the footage lacks any reference point to judge the object's size, altitude or distance. The clip drew added attention for surfacing close to the 50th anniversary of the well-known 1976 Tehran UFO case.

Declassified 1952 recording of Air Force UFO investigator released to Congress
The Department of War's PURSUE programme has released a 1952 audio recording of US Air Force Captain Edward Ruppelt discussing his investigation of unidentified aerial phenomena, after Congressman Eric Burlison asked for it to be located and preserved. In the recording, titled 'flying saucer talk', Ruppelt said around 20% of some 800 reports the Air Force had reviewed could not be explained, with clusters of sightings near the nuclear sites at Los Alamos, Albuquerque, White Sands and Oak Ridge, and radar returns showing speeds of up to 3,500mph. Burlison, who had asked MIT Lincoln Laboratory to digitise the tape for the National Archives, said it shows military concern about the sites is "not new".
