Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Spherical and appeared to be rotating as it kept changing from grey to silver

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

I observed it with another person for about an hour. Eventually it zoomed off at incredible speed moving from one horizon to another in about 2 seconds !

I remember this incident very clearly. I was watching a football match at Osterley Park near Isleworth. The UFO was observed towards the direction of Heathrow Airport. Kept thinking is was some sort of weather balloon before it took off at incredible speed. one moment it was just stationery and then it was moving at incredible speed which appeared instantaneous i e there was no appearance of it accelerating. This event has been bugging me for years. Any idea what it was ?
