Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Large orange lens flare in the sky, I had no up close sightings nor can i confirm it was a flying object. A few minutes before hand I noticed two 4 minute spaced flashes coming from the ground, within three minutes of the flashes I saw at least five(5) different planes which included one fairly large low flying plane which made lots of noise, then the orange fireball type flare shone brightly before fading almost like atmosphere entry but too low for that. The sky is clear now following 10 mins total of activity

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No unusual or visible flight activity from any UFO, except for prolonged circling from civil/military aircraft.

This may have been a military exercise but I couldn't find any info on my national website.
