What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

bright red ,oval shaped to the naked eye, but bright red, sort of diamond shaped with one small white light underneath when using binoculars. not sure of size.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

floated in a straight line then arced to the left. was lost in the light pollution of the town.
