Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

At first it looked just like a ball of red light with beams coming out of it but as I looked closer I noticed it was coming out of the middle of a black triangle shape

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It hovered over my neighbour's back garden, then zoomed over to mine making a loud humming noise. Hovered for a while then disappeared

Any additional comments :

It had a calming or sort of mesmerising quality where me and my mother couldn't stop staring at it. It startled my dog, who also couldn't stop staring at it. Just before it appeared my internet/laptop was going weird.
