What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

2 OVAL SHAPES SHIMMERING WHITE LIGHT IN PARALEL FORMATION WITH THE DISTANCE BETWEEN THEM LIKE THAT OF CAR HEADLIGHTS

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Both were hovering above the horizon about 1 mile away. After about 30 seconds the one to my left reduced very rapidly in size to a dot which then turned to the left and travelled in a straight line into a dark cloud a few miles away. About a minute later the second object followed the first one in exactly the same way.

The sky was very light for the time of day with a huge full moon rising in the East. Although I estimate that they were hovering no more than a mile away there was no noise
