What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

unable to describe the shape and size, but there were 3 yellowis lights in the sky above the Colne Valley in a triangle formation, there were no flashing lights to indicate a conventional aircraft, just steady yellowish lights.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

one of the lights then started to disappear upwards until it was completely out of view, the other two lights continued to hover for a few minutes before heading off in a westerly direction towards Manchester, after less than a couple of minutes being in the house I went out to check again and neither of the two lights were anywhere to be seen
