Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

it was about the altitude of a small light aircraft, flying over looe, heading in a roughly south-westerly direction. it was at night, so i thought it was a hot air balloon, as it was clearly fire, however there was no smoke from it, and as it passed by i could make out no silhouette of a balloon.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it simply passed at a constant speed, as a small aircraft would across the sky.

I cant remember the time exactly, it was between 7.45 and 8.20pm though.
