What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Circular, don't know exact size, but was about as large as the street, there were flashing lights around the edge of the craft that were flashing red, green and white, and was black in colour.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No, it just past over slowly.

It was just above the chimney tops of the houses.
