Looked at first like a star, but was very orange.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It was moving slowly from the south west towards the east

I came out of my house at 7:30ish, it was dark. When i started to walk down my driveway i saw what at first i thought was a star. I was convinced pretty quickly that it wasn't a star, as it was a deep orange in colour and was slowly moving from the south west towards the east. i thought it may have been a plane, but rather than the flashing lights usually on aircraft it was constantly this deep orange glow. I also saw 2 or 3 planes in the sky at the same time and it looked nothing like them. To me it looked as distant as a star but was definitely orange and definitely moving. myself and a friend saw it so i know i wasn't just seeing things either.
