What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It was like a bright red orb type shape, it wasnt flashing it was more like it was throbbing ha! or pulsing for the less dirty minded ;)

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

i was sat outside of work having my break then it just all of a sudden appeared from the right, it looked for a second to be a distance away and i thought it was a canny bright light for a plane! then a second later it was hovering 150 foot above 'whsmiths'oppisite where i work. then it slowly started to move behind one of the taller buildings next door heading down the bank towards north road so i followed it abit till i could see it again, and when it appeared about 2 seconds later it appeared miles away. then a massive air wolf type helicopter came flying over head towards the object!! then i was happy cause i knew i wasnt just seeing things ha ha!
