Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Twice the size of an passenger jet. Diamond shape but with a rounded edge underneath. Orange on the outside but more yellowish toward the middle.We all saw a hint of green in it too.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It was moving around erratically in the sky. It then headed toward our direction, stopped, hovered then moved away quicker than anything I have ever seen and it looked like it turned green. It returned 2 minutes later and did the same thing.We all watched it move off into the distance.

Any additional comments :

I saw it first and shouted my partner and 10 year old daughter to come and see it. After the sighting the area was swarming with Helicopters. They kept flying round the same area all night for hours. In the morning the helicopters were still in that area. Both me and my daughter watched the helicopters . They were very large. They stopped flying over the area about dinnertime the day after the sighting.
