Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Awoke to a humming noise and flickering lights. I had two windows in my bedroom and we lived in a bungalow at the time, so my room had a flat roof to it. The window opposite to were I was in bed is where I saw flickering lights, small and various colours, they weren't bright and also where not shining any light into the room.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Humming noise, flickering lights then this load bang and everything gone.

It was a very quick experience, but enough to make me jump out of bed get the whole house up thinking that there had been a crash of a plane.
