What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

orange dot the size of a wingspan of an aeroplane with downward orange curved line on each side

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

moved silently but very slowly from east to west then hovering from time to time then the lines on either side of the craft disappeared then slowly went skyward getting evever smaller until it vanished

 

How long did you see the UFO for :

Any additional comments :

it was not an aeroplane or a helicopter the night was dead calm and these nights you can always hear the engines of aircraft and also there was no flashing lights associated with aircraft
