Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

The object was round and orange and as it got nearer there were red and orange flashing lights and it was surrounded by a sort of halo of white light. There was no sound at all. It was travelling north to south and then stopped and changed direction towards the west.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It stopped and changed direction and then started moving again and then totally disappeared.

Any additional comments :

As there was no sound at all it couldn't have been a helicopter, the sky was clear and there was just total silence, no traffic on the roads.
