Any additional comments :

I have never reported this as I think at the time it never crossed my mind but I have often thought about it wondering what it was. I cannot quite remember where we were on the road but we were on our way back from London and I know we left around 10ish as we had broken down just before leaving london. I also remember saying to my dad that it must have been an mod secret aircraft on its way to Exeter or somewhere and I remember him saying it was the wrong diretion and there were no airfields close by or in the direction. It flew directly across the car from right to left, we had the impression that it was absolutely huge and/or very low flying because as it went over us it filled the sky above the car. My dad did not see it as he was driving but I remember pointing it out to my mum and saying "what the hell is that?" . I am interested if you had any other sightings of similar? I'm sorry it is a little vague, I'm not sure what month it was although it was definitely between Feb and April. I hope this helps.
