What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Amber points of light. Would appear to be perhaps 1,000-2,000 feet away. Perhaps about 100 of them in formation,'gliding by' at a lesser speed than say the business jets which operate from nearby Biggin Hill.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Heard a vaguely quiet jet engine noise but these were not conventional jet aircraft by any means.
