What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

bright orange glow shape difficult to see, about 10,000 ft

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

just appeared in the sky,moved towards us very fast then slowed to a stop ,twinkled and vanished overhead ,

Any additional comments :

the fact that it was large and then vanished rules out mant explanations,my wife was talking on the ohone looking down the garden when she shouted 'wow come and look at this'we both went outside and witnessed it.
