What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

it was about the size of a commercial jet, no flashing lights or sound but had a contant yellowy glow. It was very high up and steadily moved out of sight.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No it, moved consistantly in a straight line.
