What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

round and a shimmering brilliant white while approaching. about the size of a snooker ball. once it was going away from me it was still mostly brilliant white but i could see 1 of its jets.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

no it was going on a slight curve and only took about .5 second to cross the sky
