What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Bright orange ( fire-like)spherical shape travelling at a much lower level than commercial aircraft. The intensity of the light seemed to generate a "halo" around it. From the perceived distance , the light was the same size as a car

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

The light was travelling a lot faster than the aircraft on the local flight paths and it was completely silent.It was travelling in a South-easterly direction
