Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Ball of fire with tail. Tail had green colouring. Not disimilar to shooting star, but much much bigger. Apparent size 10% to 20% diameter of moon. Moving very rapidly in SW direction. Visible for about 2/3 seconds and then vanished. Did not dim - just vanished. Witnessed by self and spouse in car, with very similar observations.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No - other than instant dissapearance
