What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It was just an orange glowing ball about 50 feet in the air.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It looked like it was hovering until we pulled over and realised it was moing very slow in a southwesterly direction
