What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
It was difficult to establish what shape it was.It was rising in the sky near the eastern flight path near Newcastle airport. Originally I thought it was an aircraft in trouble as there was a larege orsange fire to what I presumed was an engine there was no aircraft noise. I was still climbing in the sky and changed it's flight path to a westerly direction. It was moving slowly but also appeared to move very quickly changing its position in the air.It did not have any lights on it. I have never seen anything like it before!
I thought it was a airplane initially,in difficulty with its port engine on fire. It was moving silently and slowly gaining height, but the large orange fire ball change size as if the pilot had shut the engine down.It went behind cloulds. I turned local news on to expect a report about an aircraft having to make an emergancy landing. I contacted security at Newcasatle airport-no reports of anything. I also reported it to the police.

It wasn't a plane, helicopter, or fireworks! I don't know what I saw. I have never seen anything like this before and prior to this I would think anybody telling me about 'seeing something' in the sky was 'bonkers'. Now I think I am, so I'am not going to mention it again!!
