What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to
terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Even with 10x25 binoculars the objects were difficult to define. However, they eminated a bright orange/pulsating colour. They numbered about 15 in all over a 45 minute period and travelled from the same direction. Size was difficult to ascertain but certainly brighter than a star and varying in brightness.
Did the UFO do any
strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :
The UFO's travelled at similar speeds. They direction took them over our home(my wife was a witness to the event too).Their 'flight paths' did not vary however, some went NNE, some NE and one went towards the NW.
How long did you see the
UFO for :
45 mins
-hh:mm:ss
Any additional comments :
Whilst I have an interest in astronomy and actually did part of my degree in planetary sciences, I am convinced that these things were generating their own power source. One in particular was pulsating bright/dim orange light on a regular basis. Some actually lost their brightness and on one occasion I was able to follow the object. It had a gossasmer texture and was definitely and orb in shape. I did detect a black circle on part of the surface of the object and at 'the rear' a dim orange light was visible to me.
My wife reported that she had looked through her binoculars and observed the brightest object appeared to be encompassed by a "round misty brightness".
Over the years I have observed the sky as often as possible. The sky during observation was clear and their was a very strong amount of reflected moon light. I have observed satellites and know that the reflected light they produce is usually white; also, they follow different trajectories at different times throughout the night. These objects were not satellites; neither were they weather balloons of meteorite fragments!! On one occasion, 4 objects appeared over the horizon as if in a loose formation.
I do hope that others have reported this sighting..our first! Please let me know if you have had any other reports.
Thank you.
