ovalish bright orange larger than the lights from a plane

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

it traveled fast towards me before stoping and hovering for about 90scs before shooting off at a sharp right angle

because it is new year i frist thought that it could have been a firework but the fireworks were going up this was traverling horizontaly and very fast no i have not been drinking and have not drunk in more than 18 years
