Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Ball of fire, much bigger than terrestrial airplanes, that happened to be in vicinity at same time.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

First sighted it when going to draw babies bedroom curtains, at first thought it was a firework close by and watched for it to "explode". When i realised it was not in fact a firework i continued to watch mainly because of its' huge size. It continued to hover for approx 40 seconds and then moved fairly quickly across the sky. I ran to the front bedroom of the house to continue watching where it seemed to slow considerably and sort of couldn't make up "it's" mind as whether to go straight up or continue forward. It eventually just disapeared, i watched this for a total of approx 3 and 1/2 to 4 minutes.
