What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Appeared to be the size of the moon, initially thought it was a balloon or plastic bag, but wind was NNE and object moved E - W.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Just passed very quickly across the sky

Any additional comments :

Object appeared as an off white colour, passed West to East very quickly across the sky, giving the appearance of a lower oject but moved across the direction of the wind. This was observed and pointed out to me by a friend.
