Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
it was round in shape displaying no lights but was jet black and looked fairly large
It was moving around slowly then started moving very fast, faster than a jet but was completly silent (it was a very warm wind free evening) then stopped completly still over the sea about 300 meters from my house then floated into the sea.

Any additional comments :
it definitly was not a ballon all of my family generally concluded that the craft must have had an engine to perform those manouvers. also it was strange the way it just dropped into the sea.
