What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

A white light high in the sky

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

I thought it was an aeroplane when I first saw it, then suddenly it did a gentle horse shoe shape in the line of direction that it was travelling. Then it was wobbling about.It disappeared behind a cloud, from where was a big flash, and when it came out it was travelling at a 90 degree angle from it's previous direction, and this time flashing, before it disappeared behind more cloud.
