Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

A solid Black Ball about the same size as a microlite, travelling at about the speed of a helicopter, without making a sound. Perhaps some square details to the Black Ball, but I couldn't quite tell. It moved in a surreal and smooth way, against the wind

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It flew NW which happened to be the way I could see if for the longest out of my window.

It wasn't like anything I had ever seen before. It had no moving parts, and was silent.. it was enough to freak me out a little..
