What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It looked like a bright white megaphone with a long white pole hanging down vertically from it

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It appeared to be travelling in a straight line below the aircraft but may have been in a static position and appeared moving because of the speed of the plane

Any additional comments :

I assumed it was some kid of wether measuring equipment but it must have been at around 10,000 ft and there was no balloon or visible support.
