Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

The object was just a bright single white light. It did not pulsate or blink.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It moved at a slow speed, but seemed to speed up slightly and then slow down again, there was some intelligence to it. I wathced it for several minutes before it changed course and flew east out towards the sea.

Any additional comments :

This object has appeared on two consecutive nights now at different times. The object makes no noise whatsoever, there is no vapour trail and no colourful or flashing lights. Shortly after watching this object disappear out of sight this evening, a military jet flew over and appeared to be following it.
