Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
Two sets of darting lights. These each consisted of two sphere's of light joined at the middle of the circumference, horizontally. The lights were not beams or arcs, but solid glows, static in shape. This was despite the pervading light at the time - at the time of the sighting (the above was an approximation to the best of my abilities) twilight was just underway, with the sky still a pale blue, clear of cloud cover and with no stars yet visible. From my position on Buckingham Rd, Stalybridge, Cheshire, England; the objects were SEE from my position, possibly due south of Wild Bank Moor (above the adjoining hill, or nearby).
The objects moved rapidly about the sky, thier movements like that of a flys, with immediate (random seeming) changes in direction. There was only the slightest period of acceleration/deceleration before an object halted or reached it's intended speed, just a fraction of a second over apparently large distances. They moved in proximity but not simultaneously. The flight path takes planes south, through west, then over Manchester, the nearest city - any north bound planes do not cross the skies at this area, and never are two planes in tandem. However, to my mild chargrin, I was about to arrive at my girlfriends' home at the time, and the lights were visible from the house but concealed from the door by a tree. No one was looking outside, so as my girlfriend came to the door I guestered hurredly to her without a word, and we walked rapidly to the bottom of the 5m path to the road, where the lights were free of obstruction from this view. I stepped from behind the tree and the lights were present - a moment later, as she stepped from behind a tree, the "glows" became.... smoothly flying planes, lights-and-all, possibly passenger by appearence. However, they were flying in tandem right out of their position from where the lights were, and NNW bound. After having lived in this area for most of my life, and still having seen no similar flight path (recently I have seen circling planes and helicopters around midnight, oddly), I must assert that this was a bizarre event.

To the best of my knowledge I am of sound mind and perception, of a rational (but also intuitive) dispostion, and assert that the explanations for UFO sightings must lie outside of the limits of conventional knowledge - with which lies so much unexplained; whereas a short step from the mainstream with research unearthes reams of compelling information. Reductionism is no grounds for undermining that which occurs or may occur. Thanks for your research and efforts.
