What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
A red aura around a yellow/orange centre - no flashing lights, no noise.
It passed from south to north at about 5 miles in the distance and then turned east and rapidly receeded in to the distance until it was no longer visible. This took about 30 seconds.

Any additional comments :
Being on the flight path of Luton Airport and Stansted Airport we are used to watching aircraft circling and we have had hot air balloons going over our house but this was what I consider to be totally different from what we have seen before. I have been very sceptical up until now but this has got me seriously thinking.
