What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

A bright orange light, it couldnt of reflected light as the only light other than the object was the lights from Dover docks.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No, the object seemed to be travelling fairly slow, hard to explain.
