Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

It was a Red and changing colour to Orange, the closest thing i could relate it to would be a Red firework cinder but not distinguishing and falling towards earth like a firework. It was flying high in the sky.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

It seemed to be changing from a ball of light into a small line and back to a ball. It moved steadily accross the sky at the same rate of an aeroplane in cruise
