What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

round orange ball with flames below similar in size to a small moon

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

rose vertical ish, then moved towards north west ish seemed to be stationary for a few seconds started moveing again similar direction & disapeered out of site behind trees

Another group of walkers also saw what we did & commented there was no noise what so ever
