Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

Could not see the body of the UFO. Series of six lights, stretching from moon diagonally about one foot (in my sight, probably about a mile in length, based on the distance between me and the object).

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Completely stationary. Vanished after about a minute.

Any additional comments :

There were airplanes, stars, and satellites in the sky, but this object was definitely different. All of the lights were red, each of them blinking in a definitive pattern.
