Sighting Details

What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

compared to police helicopter. traveling at same speed and height of 1,000 to 1,500feet.Trajectory from Purdown to Filton airport. Three very bright red incandescent lights about same size as helicopter,no sound whatsoever and approximately 60 seconds apart. No cloud cover.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

Any additional comments :

although very bright as they passed overhead the rear of these objects were unlit.Their shape was that of an Armadillo without the snout.
