Sighting Details
What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
It looked like a very high tech plane with a cyclindrical part sticking out of the bottom at an angle at the back. I don't want to sound fanciful, but the best way I can describe it is being like an upside down 'Starship Enterprise' but a lot smaller. The size was perhaps 15' across by maybe 10' high.
I was looking out of the front window of my house and had just been on the phone which was on the window sill. I put the phone down and looked up the road to the left where Poole Hospital is. I noticed a 'plane' in the sky but also noticed that it was very low. As I watched it came down very low over the houses across the road. It just seemed to glide over the row of houses, about 5 feet above them until it got to the end where there were some trees. It disappeared behind the trees and I didn't see it after that. If it was a plane it was a plane I have never seen before and plane's do not fly that low over houses. Also, after it had gone I realised it hadn't made a sound, none at all, and it was so close the sound should have been deafening. Somebody else that day must have seen this, it's bothered me for years. You just don't see things like that in broad daylight.
