What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :

five hazy orange balls of light; bright, but not flashing. Size was larger than aircraft lights, and much bigger and brighter than satelites, and moved slower as well.

Did the UFO do any strange things like hover and then zoom off quickly :

No, they moved slowly, but steadily in single file formation. Three objects moved into view first with an equal distance between them, then there was a gap, then two more close together. They moved from the North East to the South east in a wide ark. They maintained a level altitude.

Any additional comments :

The objects made NO NOISE at all. There were aircraft which flew over later which, although higher, were clearly audible. These objects were silent. The objects apeared to be closer to the ground than an aircraft, even a light aircraft would fly, but it was hard to tell. They flew at a steady speed and kept their formation.
