What did the UFO look like, shape/size in relation to terrestrial objects/lights/colour :
3 blurred circles of brown orange light in a triangle that started to revolve around. Nothing to distinguish the size, but appeared to be quite large and at some distance as they were not in focus to the naked eye.
UFO appeared straight in front of me as I sat star watching. It did not come from left or right it just appeared.For a second or so I just sat looking wondering to myself what I was looking at when it started to revolve, at that moment I was shocked into awareness and called to my son in law to come and look.The UFO moved left across the sky and was out of our view within 2/3 seconds. There was no sound at all from it and shortly afterwards an airliner flew overhead you could hear the faint noise of its engines and it was in view for at least two minutes, I don't know what I saw only that for real I saw it. I mentioned it to other people and was laughed at, and no, I had not been drinking.

Any additional comments :
If I had caught this on video it would have made no difference as the object was blurred all the time I observed it. Because of this blurring to the edges of the circles I assumed whatever it was must have been a very long way away from me and if that was the case then it must have been huge.
